Takamine P6NC BSB Nex Acoustic/Electric Brown Sunburst 2015
Takamine P6NC, sunburst, made in Japan 2015. This is a classy thing, truly. Tak's P series tuff is their recent, Japan-made professional tier offerings. This one is a Nex, so it's smaller than a dreadnought, with tight curves and a slim waist, but not as small as a parlour. It feels great to play: it sits in the lap comfortably, with a comfy rounded neck and a generous natural resonance. The solid flame maple back and sides look amazing: that's some very classy timber, no doubt about it. The pickup translates the tone accurately with plenty of warmth and character, and the natural voice is dry, balanced and airy. This would be a great working player's guitar.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a minor chip on the end, scuffs on the sides and some minor marks around the posts on the front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands,you can see the line where the satin finish stops near the headstock, as well as a bald patch on the treble side near the tenth fret. The back has dimples in the middle of the body and along the back edge, as well as minor scuffs around the whole body. The sides have a dent on the top shoulder, scuffs in the elbow area, dimples on the bottom bout and scuffs on the bottom shoulder. The front has scuffs and dimples in the elbow area, back edge and around the bridge, a bald spot around the bottom of the sound hole and some play wear on the guard and shoulders.
Overall: very good condition (7/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. Setup with 12/54 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 7/10, minor wear but playing evenly
