Squier Silver Series Stratocaster SST33 Black 1992
Squier Silver Series Strat, made in Japan 1992, black. Squier launched in 1982, alongside the Fender Japan line, and was initially made by the excellent Fujigen Gakki factory. Squier stuff moved to Korea in the late 80s, but they debuted the top end Silver Series line in 1991 as a return to Japanese making for the brand. The best thing is the neck: it feels amazing. It's a medium C type shape, and just smooth and comfy and just... right. This one has an upgraded Gotoh steel block bridge, as well as a new loaded guard with a set of Fender Noiseless pickups. The tone is clear and open, with a shimmering top end and plenty of punch. Secure a sleek Silver Series sweetie and savour the snazzy simplicity.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dents on the end, as well as minor dimples and minor scuffs and fading all over the headstock. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, dimples and scuffs on the back and rub wear and fading all over. The back has minor dimples and scuffs all over, as well as minor surface scratches along the belly carve and back edge. The sides have minor scuffs all over as well as dimples in the elbow area and surface scratches near the jack. The front has dimples in the elbow area, scuffs around the jack and bridge and play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 7/10, minor wear only
