Fender Newporter Dreadnought Acoustic Walnut 1990
Fender Newporter dreadnought, walnut, made in Korea 1990. Fender made some acoustics out of Japan in the 70s and 80s, and then did a run for a few years out of South Korea in the early 1990s. This is one of those early Korean examples, and it's a cute looking thing. The walnut stain finish, tort guard and cute Strat-style headstock make for a cool aesthetic. The neck is a soft V shape, if you like them a little thicker than standard this might be up your alley. The tone is bright and cheerful with plenty of attack. All in all, a fun old acoustic that leaves plenty of change for bibimbap.
