Fender American Professional II Stratocaster HSS Dark Night 2020
Fender Am Pro II Strat, Dark Knight finish, made in USA 2020. Cool finish, no? The American Professional series replaced the long running American Standard, aiming to serve up gig-ready, super sturdy players for a decent dime that come with the sweet smell of freedom baked in... (eagle screeches above). This one got the updated V-Mod pickups and a steel block trem, which adds a bit of heft to the bottom end and further stabilises the tuning. The single coils are crisp and immediate, while the humbucker is wide and warm; all the tones on offer deliver a certain hi-fi chime and sparkle. The reverse-burst style finish looks awesome too, it will surely hang beautifully on your wall or work even harder on stage. Why so serious?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a small dent on the bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has dimples on the belly carve and scuffs around the trem cavity; the cover is removed and missing. The sides have very minor dimples near the jack. The front has minor scuffs in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
