Fender American Performer Jazz Bass Sunburst 2023
Fender Am Performer Jazz, sunburst, made in USA 2023. For those playing along at home, the American Performer series replaced the earlier American Special line, and then was recently superseded by the American Professional Classic instruments. Personally, I'm waiting for the Chinese Performer series, but hey... onwards we march. Upshot is: this was the gateway drug to USA-made Fender in it's day. It's a handy take on the classic Jazz Bass recipe: slim neck, rosewood board, two single coils, alder body. It's a tight and puchy tone with plenty of growl when you dig in. At 4kg, it's a pretty lightweight example, so that's handy if you're old/small/soft etc. Let's get Jazzy?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has no major marks. The is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has minor scuffs in the elbow area and back edge. The sides have minor scuffs on the bottom horn and near the jack. The front has minor play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing Condition Notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/105 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 9/10, minor wear only
