Epiphone Matt Heafy LP, black, made in Indonesia 2014. Matt slings riffs for American metalcore overlords Trivium, one of the genre's longest standing and most respected acts. This is the mid-10s OG version of the Matt signature, so you get the proper ebony fretboard and a pair of hefty EMG pickups, as well as seven strings, of course. The neck is a comfy rounded shape; it's an intuitive feel even if you're more used to a six. The pickups clean up remarkably well: it's clear and fat, with an expansive bass and a shimmer top end. Obviously with a generous dose of gain, this is a big nasty joy. If you're after a seven that's smooth and agreeable without dropping a house deposit, get yourself this heck of a heap of Heafy... hellyea.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and scuffs around some of the posts on the front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs on the back only. The back has scuffs around the horns, control cavity and back edge. The sides have minor dimples in the elbow area and near the jack. The front has minor dimples around the knobs, scuffs in the elbow area and play wear on the horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/62 Ernie Ball strings.
