Some of these Yamaha pedals from the 80s are really great sounding boxes. This one is a very abrupt, blocky distortion with a mountain of natural compression. It's not so much 'good', but it's definitely a laugh. Even with the level at max, you'll get a bit of volume drop... I reckon it'd work great as a lo-fi or smasher type effect. Plus, it looks like it's made from Lego, which is fun.
