Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas, made in Mexico 2014, 'specific ocean' finish. That's got to be one of the best/dumbest finish names ever! It looks great, it's a subtle sparkle through a vibrant surf green; this is one foxy beast. This is nicely appointed: SD pickups, sensible hard-tail bridge, locking tuners, alder body... it's a good list. The quatersawn maple neck is slim and quick with a nice oil finish, and having the grain all lined up really gives it a sense of class. The electronics are pretty simple: a three way switch and master volume. This really lets the pickups shine through, you get a full, thick, clear and dynamic response from the ever reliable JB hot humbucker and Custom Stack Plus noiseless single. If you're after a highly shreddable superstrat that's not too black and pointy, this is a really classy way to go. Includes outrageous croc-print heavy duty hardcase that'll happily take many beatings.
