Maxon FWA10 Fuzz Elements Water Pedal
Maxon's Elements series re-creates some famous fuzz circuits from the past, re-housed in handy modern boxes with easy controls, modern power and no dramas. The FWA10 'Water' references the iconic 'Ram's Head' Big Muff, which is perhaps the most sought after version of the long-running EHX classic. It's thick, wooly and warm, with a generous blooming sustain. Never keen to rest on laurels, Maxon added a parametric midrange EQ to the circuit: wow, now you can really make it kick you in the chest. This is beautifully executed and perfectly nasty.
