Fender Telecaster Custom Thinline Build Black 2025
Fender Tele Custom Thinline build, made in Australia 2025, black. This dark and mysterious stranger came from a regular customer who's into putting things together that might not ever otherwise exist. The concept here is to take elements from the '69 and '72 Telecaster Thinline models, as well as the '72 Tele Custom. The neck is an American Vintage II Tele Custom example, paired with a Vintera II Thinline body, and fitted with a custom CNC cut three ply guard made by Fletcher Handcrafted Guitars to accommodate the custom controls and pickups. The neck pickup is a Fender CuNiFE Wide Range humbucker, and it sounds great: fat, round and warm with a tasty glassy top end. The bridge pickup has a pronounced midrange kick and loves a dirty tube amp. There's a lot of variations on offer via the Deluxe-style switching and knobs, so you can get all sorts of textures happening. The black looks slick too.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has no major marks. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has no major marks. The sides have minor scuffs near the front strap pin and near the jack. The front has minor play wear on the guard.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 strings.
