Squier Affinity J, fiesta red, made in China 2016. This is a great little beginner bass with a lot to offer. The neck is slim and feels nicely balanced against the light body, it's easy on the hands. The knurled metal knobs add a touch of sophistication to the classic 60s-style fiesta red finish; it's got a sleek and pleasing aesthetic. This produces a balanced, even tone with enough growl to be true to the J-genre, it works a treat. There's really nothing to worry about here, and seeing as it's in such great shape, it's a smart little addition if you were considering a brand-new model. Handy!

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. There's some very light 'buckle rash' scratching on the back, some scratches on the guard and the occasional minor dimple here and there. Really there's barely a mark on it. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have been played, but wear is basically negligible, 9/10 for life left. No worries!
