Ibanez JS100, red, made in Korea 2006. Weird Uncle Joe casts a huge shadow over the shrediverse, he's a true guitar pioneer. The JS100 was very long running model, delivering the Joe-recipe for an affordable dime, made to a pretty slick standard in Korea. This one has the Edge Pro II tremolo, which works nicely and holds up pretty well under severe wobblation. The thing that I like about this is the neck: it's a very different shape from a standard RG or S series neck, with a slim rounded C style neck more akin to ESP or even Fender stuff. It feels great: fast, smooth, comfy... easy. This is heaps of guitar for the dime... I believe the most affordable Joe model is around A$3k these days, wild times indeed. Sunglasses and dome wax not included.
