Fender Joe Strummer Tele, made in 2022, 'Road Worn' black lacquer finish. Joe Strummer was the lead vocalist and guitarist for English punk trailblazers The Clash. Few bands in history held the kind of musical or political sway The Clash enjoyed at their peak. Their brand of punk mixed in a wide palette of musical styles and displayed a panache for songwriting that eclipsed basically all their contemporaries. Joe's most iconic guitar was a heavily beaten, stickered up 1966 Telecaster, and this posthumous signature model pays tribute to that recognisable beast. It's got a fun Road Worn finish: pre-dinged and rubbed up and finished in nitro so the natural wear will show quickly. The pickups were made specially for this model too, attempting to capture the vibe of the original guitar as closely as possible. It's a comfy and intuitive thing to play, perfect for janky rhythm parts and toothy riffs. The tone is bright and boisterous with a sparkly top end and a rounded bass. The original owner has added a tasty Fender case and some bonus The Clash merch to sweeten the deal. All hail "the only band that matters".

Cosmetic condition notes: relic finish. The headstock has dimples on the end and bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear only. The back has widespread minor dimples and rub wear. The sides have minor dimples near the jack. The front has some dimples behind the bridge, along the back edge and in the elbow area, as well as some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
