Fender '57 Strat, vintage white, made in Japan 1992. It's hard to deny the charms of a creamy white Strat with a gorgeous golden maple board. This looks terrific: classic lines, perfectly yellowed and mellowed finish, vintage decals and hardware... simple, but suave. The neck is a moderate D-style shape, not a baseball bat but neither too thin, and is carved from a gorgeous piece of maple. Plug it in, and you get the classic Strat stuff: glassy and clear on top, fast bass, creamy mids. It will sit on top of a mix perfectly, it has that shimmering clarity to it. I always enjoy getting these these Fujigen-era Strats into the shop, they're just such satisfying guitars. Much yum, many delicious.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor dimples and scuffs on the end and bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and some rub wear on the back only. The back has minor scuffs along the belly carve and bottom corner as well as some dimples in the elbow area. The sides have minor scuffs in the elbow area, near the jack and on the bottom horn. The front has dimples around the knobs and bridge, scuffs in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
