Aria FA-70 jazz box, honeyburst, made in Korea 2001. Aria are mainstays of the Japanese guitar industry, making beautiful guitars from the 1960s right through to the present day. This is a sweet arch top offering from their Korean operation in the early 00s, which was producing some really great hollow and semi-hollow guitars. It's very pretty: the burst fades from a golden glow to a creme caramel vignette, and all the little details like the inlays and gold hardware add some further class to the look. The neck is an agreeable slim-ish C shape and feels great in the hands. The pickups are bright and clear, with plenty of snap on the top end and a generous piano-like weight through the bass. If you're after an affordable way into jazztown that folks will assume was pretty pricey, this is the ticket.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor scuffs on the end, bottom edge and front around some of the posts. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands,  minor rub wear on the back only. The back has scuffs on the top shoulder, dimples in the elbow area and along the bottom edge, as well as some widespread minor checking lines. The sides have dimples on both shoulders and the elbow area and some light scuffs near the jack. The front has dimples around the knobs, scuffs around the bridge and elbow area and some play wear on the guard and shoulders.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 12/56 Rotosound strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
