Marshall Artist 3203 30w Guitar Amp Head 1986
This is a cool little product of it's era. The Artist series amps were hybrid: solid state pre-amp, all valve power amp. That lends some advantages: less valves to maintain, less kilograms to lug around, and a bit more dynamic response and a little less natural compression. This definitely delivers the kind of sound you have in mind when you think Marshall: wailing crunch with outstanding clarity through the highs and mids. It's freshly back from a service and is ready to party like it's 1989.
